General Information

The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially.

It is normally possible to use our website without providing any personal data. Insofar as any personal information (such as names, addresses, or email addresses) is collected on our site, this will always be done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This information shall not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent.

Please note that data transmitted via the Internet (e.g. via email communication) may be subject to security breaches. It is not possible to fully protect data from third-party access.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking, advertising or analytics purposes. It only uses functional cookies and browser storage that are necessary for the website to work as intended.

When you accept the cookie notice, this choice is stored in your browser's local storage (not in a cookie) so that the notice is not shown again on your next visit. In addition, a functional cookie ("NEXT_LOCALE") may be set to remember your language preference (German or English) while browsing the site.

You can configure your browser to inform you about the use of cookies so that you can decide on a case-by-case basis whether to accept or reject a cookie, or to delete cookies that have already been stored. As this website does not rely on cookies for tracking, disabling cookies will not affect your privacy in that respect, although it may affect the language-preference and cookie-notice functionality described above.

Server Log Files

This website is hosted on Google Cloud (Google Kubernetes Engine) in the Zurich region (europe-west6), Switzerland. The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in "server log files". These are:

- Browser type and browser version

- Operating system used

- Referrer URL

- Host name / IP address of the accessing computer

- Time of the server request

This data is processed solely for the operation and security of the website (e.g. to detect and prevent misuse) and is kept only for a short period. It is not combined with data from other sources. We reserve the right to retrospectively check this data if we become aware of specific evidence of illegal use.

Google Map

This website contains links to Google Maps for the addresses of our offices. Clicking on such a link opens Google Maps in a new browser tab; no Google Maps content is embedded in this website and no data is transmitted to Google when this page is loaded. If you follow the link, your use of Google Maps is governed by Google's own terms and privacy practices. You can find the Google Maps Terms of Use under "Google Maps Terms of Use".

Contact and application forms

If you contact us using the contact form, or send us an application via the application form, the details you provide (and, for applications, any files you upload, up to a maximum size of 10 MB) are transmitted by email to Schnopp & Partner via a transactional email service (Amazon Simple Email Service, provided by Amazon Web Services) so that we can process your enquiry or application and respond to any follow-up questions. This service is operated in the European Union (Amazon Web Services region Europe, Ireland).

The website itself does not store this data in a database; it is only sent to us by email and then handled in accordance with this privacy policy. This data will not be passed on without your consent and will be treated confidentially.

Information, deletion, and blocking

You will receive information about the personal data we have stored about you, as well as about the origin, the recipient and the purpose of data collection and data processing. You also have the right to request for the correction, blocking or deletion of your data. Data which has been kept due to legal provisions or required for proper business transactions is excluded from this. Data is stored in a lock file for control purposes so that data can be locked at any time. If data is not collected by a legal archiving obligation, then we will delete your data at your request. If the archiving obligation applies, we will block your data. For all questions and concerns regarding the correction, blocking or deletion of personal data, please contact our data protection officer under the contact details in this privacy statement or at the address stated in the imprint.
